1. The Godfather- Its not on my list of favorite movies. Its not something I can watch more than once a year, but the fact is that The Godfather is a classic and set the standard for Mobster movies.
2. The Breakfast Club- If you can't tell I was born in the early 80's... well, I was. John Hughes was brilliant and The Breakfast Club is a must see, if only to understand High School and the 80's.
3. Anchorman- Its defined comedy for this generation. Even if you hate it, get used to it because every comedy made in the next 10 years will draw upon its ridiculous influence.
4. The Big Lebowski- The dude abides. See the movie, man. You're being very un-dude by not seeing it, man.
5. Fight Club- Existential, fatalistic psychotic violence. Its the dark, gritty film you don't even know you want to watch.
